What do you think Catholic Church says that illegal immigration is ultimately a humanitarian issue?

I think religion has no place in politics. So it really doesn't matter what a couple of bishop's think, they do not write policy for this country. The laws of the land are all that is important here, illegal immigrant are just that criminals who have broken the law.
