Who is considered the temporal governor of the church, the Queen or The Archbishop of Canterbury?
The Church of England is a corrupt religion. I know the Queen is not considered as politician but I can say that they are putting political influence in the Church of England for having the Queen as the head. They are making their Church to have like a head of state and head of government. Well, the Vatican is different. The Vatican is a theocracy but the UK is not. That's why the power if the Pope is absolute. Althoguh it's absolute, the Pope does not consider it a political power of course. I think the reason why it became absolute is because it can influence the faith of the people of any race, creed, gender even if they are under of dufferent jurisdiction. The bottomline is why the Queen has to be the governor of the Church of England. I know it's in the Act of Succession but it's really poor reasoning. The Queen was never considered as a member of the clergy or a convent at least so it doesnt make sense. She's a royal and not a clergy.
