Does the Pope have any real power?
What I mean to say is the members of the Anglican Communion meet with the Archbishop of Canterbury but he has no real power, they all really govern themselves(oh maybe excepting the actual Church of England) The Queen of England is the acknowledged head of the commonwealth of countries, but though she appears on the money of many nations, she has no real pull.Is it the same with the Pope, like if a catholic in say Latin America errs, is their a direct line from the parish priest to eventually the Pope in discipline or is it more like the Pope is a titular head alone?
