Was the Archbishop of Canterbury right to slap one on Cameron and the DemCons?

So the Archbishop of Canterbury's really slapped one on Cameron and the DemCons hasn't he? More effectively than any of those lightweights in the offocial opposition have ever managed to do. Of course he's a hell of a lot cleverer than Cameron and both of them know it, hence Cameron's fury - that of a man stung - the team captain clean bowled. But should the bishops just mind his own business and where opinions are concerned... 'just save it for Sundays, please'?
