Are daytime TV phone-in competitions too easy?

Loool of course they are. People know the right answer so they phone in for this fantastic prize, thinking they have a chance of winning it but they dont. And because every one does this the show get 100 times as much money as the actual prize costs. Hope this explained everything to you that you wanted :D
