What exactly makes the traditional Catholic organization, the Society of Saint Pius X, a cult?

A cult is a body that follows some charismatic leader instead of following God speaking through His Church. That society essentially makes Lefebvre their only authority, and that's the definition of a cult. The Church does not refer to them that way however. It simply considers them a schismatic group.
