Is the Imperialism on the brink of Collapse?

Imperialism has been on the decline for nearly a century. After WWI the cost of empire has been made evident. Also the AK-47 heralded true equality among mankind, unfortunately a bit too much so since now children are capable of fighting wars. Empire has a high price in blood and treasure. It is becoming increasingly expensive to hold territory that doesn't want to be held so all empire will collapse if current trends continue. If you're worried about Britain, don't. They are an Island and their rich can't escape the poor as evidenced by the attack on the prince. Just beware that the rich don't steal even more from the poor (USA government taking money from the taxpayers and future taxpayers to "bail out" institutions that should never have been allowed to exist in that massive all consuming form - the banks)
